LOONA's Chuu Joins ATRP Entertainment, Founded by Former WM Entertainment Director
Chuu, a member of the popular K-pop girl group LOONA, has signed with ATRP, a new entertainment agency headed by former WM Entertainment General Director, CEO Kim Jin-mi. ATRP announced on April 7th that they are excited to welcome Chuu as their first affiliated artist, pledging full support for her future activities.
ATRP is a newly established entertainment company founded by CEO Kim Jin-mi, who is well-known for discovering and nurturing K-pop acts such as B1A4, Oh My Girl, and ONF during her tenure at WM Entertainment. With her extensive experience and industry connections, Chuu's career is expected to flourish under the guidance of CEO Kim.
Chuu is currently in the midst of a legal battle with her former agency, Block Berry Creative (hereinafter referred to as 'Block Berry'), which began in January last year when she filed an injunction to suspend her exclusive contract with the company. In response, Block Berry removed Chuu from LOONA, leaving her future in the music industry uncertain.
Despite the ongoing dispute, Chuu remains a beloved figure in the K-pop world, having debuted with LOONA in 2017 as part of the 'Girl of the Month' project. Beyond her activities with the group, she has made her mark as an entertainer, appearing in various television programs and commercials, showcasing her unique and charming energy.
Fans are eagerly anticipating Chuu's next steps as she embarks on this new journey with ATRP, hoping for a successful resolution to her legal conflict with Block Berry and a bright future ahead in the K-pop industry.
