TVN's new Saturday drama, "The Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" premieres tonight, promising a K-fantasy action-packed drama featuring Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) as a gumiho who finds himself in the chaos of 1938, on a mission to return to the modern age. After three years, the show returns with more dynamic action, a larger scale, and characters drawn from a colorful world of indigenous gods and native monsters.

 

In the previous season, Lee Yeon overcame the crisis of death and found happiness with his eternal first love, Nam Ji-ah (played by Jo Bo-ah). This time, a new story unfolds as he crash-lands in 1938 after getting caught up in an unexpected incident.
