- Ktown4u COEX Debuts in Seoul, Establishing a New K-Pop Mecca 목차
Ktown4u COEX, Korea's largest K-pop complex, made its grand debut in Seoul on May 2nd, opening its doors to the public. A range of officials attended the opening ceremony, including Gangnam-gu Mayor Cho Seong-myeong, Trade Association Executive Director Kim Go-hyun, WTC Seoul President Choi Yong-min, and Alibaba Korea General Manager Jeong Hyeong-kwon.
The complex, located in Artium, Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, spans from the 2nd to the 4th floors and covers an area of 3,044 square meters. Ktown4u COEX aims to serve as an integrated online and offline platform for K-pop, turning Gangnam-gu into the center of the industry.
In addition to being a hub for K-pop culture, the Ktown For You Academy within the complex offers versatile spaces for dance and vocal practices, recording and filming opportunities for global fans, and rentals to entertainment companies and the public.
CEO of Ktown4u, Song Hyo-min, expressed her excitement for the opening, saying, "We will make Gangnam-gu the center of K-pop. Please enjoy watching our new attempts." Cho Seong-myeong, head of Gangnam-gu, also shared his enthusiasm, stating, "We will work hard to further develop [Gangnam-gu] into a mecca of pop."
The opening of Ktown4u COEX marks a new era for K-pop, providing fans and artists alike with a central hub for the industry in the heart of Seoul.
