JYP Entertainment has recently announced that the popular girl group NiziU will embark on their second solo tour, 'NiziU Live with U 2023,' starting in July. The news came via the company's official SNS channel, exciting fans all over the world.
According to the released information, NiziU's tour will kick off on July 1st at Saga Arena in Saga Prefecture. The group will then perform at several venues across Japan, including Yoyogi National Stadium, Tokyo National Stadium 1, Osaka-jo Hall, Hiroshima Green Arena, Aichi Prefecture Port Messe Nagoya New Exhibition Hall 1, Miyagi/Sekisui Heim Super Arena, and Hokkaido Kitaeru. In total, NiziU will deliver 15 performances in 7 cities throughout the country.
This upcoming tour follows the success of NiziU's first tour, 'NiziU Live with U 2022 'Light it Up',' held in 2022. The group performed in 7 cities across Japan with a total of 16 concerts, attracting around 150,000 attendees. Tickets for the initial tour were in high demand, selling out within 10 minutes of going on sale. The group made history as they entered the Dome Osaka for their first-ever dome concert, setting a record for the shortest time taken for a female artist to achieve this feat.
Since their official debut on December 2, 2020, NiziU has continued to gain popularity and has already amassed more than 330,000 concert attendees in 2022. With their ever-growing fanbase, the group is expected to deliver an even more impressive performance during their second tour, captivating audiences with their charm and upgraded stage presence.
In addition to the tour announcement, JYP Entertainment has also revealed that NiziU will release their first live Blu-ray, titled 'NiziU Live with U 2022 ’Burn it Up’ in TOKYO DOME,' on May 10th. The Blu-ray release will showcase the group's memorable performances from their two-day concert at the Tokyo Dome, known as the 'dream stage,' allowing fans to relive the incredible experience.
