Disney Plus has unveiled an exclusive video on April 10, titled 'SUGA: Road to D-DAY-D-Day Roadmap,' in which BTS member Suga speaks candidly about his experiences as a solo artist and the process of creating his first solo album.

In the revealing interview, Suga delves into the background of his alternate stage persona, AgustD, which was introduced on his debut mixtape back in 2016. He touches upon the initial skepticism he faced from idol fandom, as some questioned whether he fit the mold of a true idol.

Suga reflects on his passion for music, sharing that he began composing songs during high school and persisted throughout his trainee years. "I repeated writing and revising songs. I wrote really hard," he states earnestly.

The BTS member also opens up about the hardships he and his fellow group members endured, mentioning that "The members said, 'We came back alive from hell." Determined to prove himself, Suga recalls his burning desire for success and his gratitude for their eventual achievements.

Discussing his motivation for creating music, Suga reveals that he started composing songs despite facing opposition from a young age. While anger used to be his primary driving force, he has since evolved and moved past that emotion.

Regarding his chart-topping song 'Daechwita,' Suga shares that it was inspired by traditional Korean military music, which was often played during the king's events. He admits that, at the time, he felt like he had accomplished everything and could relate to the idea of being a king, a childhood dream of his.

In the interview, Suga also discloses that he incorporated the traditional instrument, Haegeum, for the title song 'Haegeum' on his album 'D-Day.' The fusion of traditional elements in his music showcases Suga's multifaceted artistry as he continues to push the boundaries of self-expression.
