- K-Pop Icon BoA Commemorates 20 Years with Busan Concert 목차
Korean pop sensation BoA marked the 20th anniversary of her debut with an outstanding performance in Busan, South Korea. The concert, titled 'BoA 20th Anniversary Live – THE BoA: Musicality,' took place at the BEXCO Auditorium on April 1st, as announced by her agency, SM Entertainment.
This event marked BoA's first concert in Busan in a decade, following her 2013 'BoA Special Live 2012 Here I am' performance. The occasion held extra significance as it celebrated the artist's 20-year career milestone. Originally planned for 2020, the Busan concert followed BoA's Seoul performances last month at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park. The events were rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fans, known as 'Jumping BoA,' were thrilled to see the star in person after a long hiatus. BoA delivered an unforgettable show, featuring her greatest hits, including 'No.1,' 'My Name,' 'Valenti,' 'Atlantis Princess,' 'Better,' 'Woman (Woman),' and 'Hurricane Venus.' SM Entertainment shared that the audience gave standing ovations and participated in a slogan event with the phrase 'Maybe we've loved you from the beginning,' further energizing the concert atmosphere.
In related news, BoA is set to appear on tvN's upcoming show 'Dance Singer's Wandering Troupe' (tentative title), premiering later this year. The program will follow the artist as she tours the country to perform.
