Cube Entertainment, the agency managing K-pop group BTOB, announced today that the group will suspend promotional activities for their 12th mini-album "WIND AND WISH" to mourn the passing of fellow artist Moonbin. The announcement was made through BTOB's official SNS account, where they asked for fans' understanding during this difficult time.

RIP Moonbin

BTOB was initially scheduled to make a comeback with their new mini-album on May 2, but they have halted promotions to honor the late Moonbin, who tragically passed away on the 19th of this month. The group will be participating in memorial events to pay their respects to the fallen star.

In a similar gesture, Weverse Shop, responsible for BTS member Suga's solo album "D-DAY," revealed that the video call fan signing event and the announcement of its winners have been postponed. Suga's team promises to provide updated information on the rescheduled event as soon as possible and asks for fans' understanding and patience.

Moonbin was found dead at her home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 8:10 pm on the 19th. The following day, her agency, Fantagio, shared the heartbreaking news and stated that the funeral will be held quietly on the 22nd, per the wishes of Moonbin's family. Only close family, friends, and company colleagues will be in attendance to pay their last respects.

The K-pop community has come together in mourning, as artists and fans alike grieve the loss of the beloved Moonbin.
