- Apple expands its presence in South Korea with fifth store opening in Gangnam 목차
Apple has just launched its fifth store in Korea, named 'Apple Gangnam', which offers a wide range of Apple products and services to consumers. The store is unique in that it features a specially designed double-height façade that is treated with a new gradient color and mirror coating, giving the appearance of a seamless flow from top to bottom. Moreover, the façade's appearance changes depending on the time of day and season.
Visitors to Apple Gangnam will also have the opportunity to participate in the free 'Today at Apple' sessions, where they can learn about various Apple products and services from experts. The store has about 150 employees who can speak more than a dozen languages, making it a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers from all backgrounds.
One of the key features of Apple Gangnam is its use of locally sourced materials in its design. Tables, wooden walls, logo, façade glass, stone walls, and flooring have all been designed using materials from the surrounding area. Additionally, Apple Gangnam is carbon neutral and powered by 100% renewable energy, just like all other Apple facilities around the world.
The store will open its doors to the public on Friday, March 31st, and visitors can reserve their spot on the first day of opening by registering online from 8:00 am on March 29th. This exciting new addition to the Apple family is sure to be a popular destination for tech enthusiasts and Apple fans alike.
